The 3rd Wiener Produktionstechnik Kongress (WPK) focusing on “Smart & Adaptive Manufacturing” was held at the Hofburg in Vienna, Austria on September 27-30.
Dr. Soshi made a presentation titled “A Study on Surface Feature Formation Mechanism when Milling Grey Cast Iron” and introduced the investigation of the mechanisms of irregular surface formation during the machining of grey cast iron, using both FEM cutting simulations and milling experiments.
